Theory of wave propagation is one of fundamental milestones of materials evaluation and mechanical properties assessment for composite materials. Due to complicity of rheological properties and new design of modern composites their evaluation by acoustic waves demands adequate approaches and application of different types of surface waves generating in complex structural materials. Thermoplastic composite materials present a typical example of those changing in wave application and interpretation of received data. This paper is devoted to new results of Love surface waves analysis for composite materials evaluation. The theoretical results were obtained by computational approaches and based on MathLab codes.

Key Words: composite materials • love surface waves • materials evaluation • computational acoustics.
